The Ocean Front Walk, better known as Venice Beach Boardwalk, is popular with skaters, walkers, cyclists and is lined with vendors selling many different products, plus entertainers and an assortment of unusual characters.
The boardwalk and bike path from Torrance County Beach in Torrance to Will Rogers State Beach in the Pacific Palisades is a 20 miles long. Rent a bike, skates, or a Segway and cruise as much of the area as you please. The Venice Beach Boardwalk portion is packed with characters, shops, and vendors, and is perfect for picking up a souvenir. Shops and restaurants can be found adjacent to the beach.
